Unlicensed Drivers Busted While Driving Away from Orange County Court.

The Orange County Register reports that drivers with suspended or revoked licenses were cited by the Garden Grove Police Department as they tried to drive away from court in Westminster.

As part of an operation funded by the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration (NHTSA), undercover officers watched a number of  repeat traffic offenders who were either unlicensed or had suspended licenses, make their appearances at Orange County Superior Court -West Justice Center Tuesday morning, and then followed them out of court to see if they would drive off illegally or get a ride.

All told, 11 drivers tried to drive away and were stopped, cited by uniform police officers and had there vehicles impounded
