A 28-year-old peeping tom was arrested on Sunday at the Family Christian Book Store in Simi Valley amid allegations that he set up a hidden recording device inside the store’s bathroom which is used by both male and female patrons.
The peeping tom has been identified as Joseph David Ramon Moreaux of Lancaster who worked at the Family Christian Book Store as a clerk. He was arrested after a female patron noticed what she believed to be a recording device while in the bathroom. The female patron called the police after consulting with her husband who was waiting outside the store.
After Simi Valley police arrived, they found a video recording device hidden among some boxes in the corner of the Christian Book Store’s bathroom. A review of the videotape showed Moreaux hiding the recording device in the bathroom as the peeping tom had the recorder on while he was setting it up.
