The Orange County Register reports that a Tustin auto mechanic was found guilty of sexually assaulting five women at a Garden Grove Econo Lube car repair shop. The mechanic would lure the women into the repair service pit by telling then he needed to discuss the car repairs with them, then he would sexually assault them while in the service pit.

Tustin auto mechanic, Adrian Montano Fuerte, 30, was found guilty by a jury on Monday of felony forcible rape and assault with the intent to commit rape, plus two misdemeanor counts of sexual battery and one misdemeanor count of battery.

Fuerte worked at the Garden Grove Econo Lube for three months in 2007. At trial prosecutors argued that during that time,  the auto mechanic lured five women, ranging in age from 18 to 60, into the service pit by telling them he needed to show them  the repairs needed on their cars. Once in the service pit, Adrian Fuerte would sexually assault the women by licking, biting, fondling and raping them.

Initially, only two of the women reported being sexually assaulted by the mechanic but the others came forward after the media reported the incidents.

Fuerte is scheduled to be sentenced in Orange County Superior Court in Westminster on November 6. The auto mechanic faces a maximum sentence of 15 years in prison for the sexual assault convictions.
