A bartender in Huntington Beach has been arrested for soliciting sex from a 13-year-old girl. The Huntington Beach bartender was unaware that the 13-year-old girl he had been trading sex-related emails and text messages with was actually the Huntington Beach police.
The Huntington Beach bartender accused of soliciting a 13-year-old girl has been identified as 27-years-old Gabriel Preto of Newport Beach. Over a five day period, Preto allegedly exchanged emails and text messages with girl he believed to be 13.
What Gabriel Preto didn’t know was that the 13-year-old girl was, in fact, a fictitious girl created by the Huntington Beach Police Department who posted a fake listing on Craigslist.
The 27-year-old bartender was arrested this week after he attempted to make arrangements to pay for sex with the 13-year-old girl. Preto was arrested and booked on various prostitution and lewd conduct charges.
