Orange County Murder, Robbery Suspects Arrested in Oregon

A man and woman were arrested in Oregon in connection with the robbery and murder of a 49-year-old man in Orange County last month. The man and woman were arrested in Oregon on Thursday afternoon in Springfield, Ore. by the U.S. Marshals Oregon Fugitive Task Force and the Springfield police.

The Orange County robbery, murder suspects arrested in Oregon have been identified as Robert Reil, 30, and Amour Villamora, 30. Orange police believe that Reil and Villamora are responsible for the death of Ezequiel Felix Bernal of Santa Ana stemming from a robbery they committed on January 3, 2010.

According to Orange police, Ezequiel Felix Bernal was driving his a white 1995 Ford Focus on the 400 block of N. Oak Street when he was struck by gunfire that caused him to lose control of the car and crash into a parked vehicle.

The investigation led police to Robert Reil and Amour Villamora in Oregon, both of whom were wanted on parole violations. When authorities went to arrest the two Orange County robbery, murder suspects, they found Villamora hiding in a bedroom closet at a residence in Oregon. Reil was arrested as he ran out of the back of the residence.

The two Orange County robbery and murder suspects were taken into custody in Oregon where they are being held in Lane County Jail in lieu of $1 million bail.
