The unnamed woman was seen by federal Customs and Border Protection officials pushing the stroller while crossing into the United States at the Calexico border.

The woman, a 27-year-old U.S. citizen from Seeley, Calif., was arrested Tuesday and charged with drug smuggling. The marijuana was found concealed inside the lining of the stroller beneath the infant.

Relatives took the child into custody.

The woman’s arrest was one of four drug seizures that has taken place at that border crossing since Tuesday. In that time, officials estimate they have seized 361 pounds of cocaine and marijuana, with a street value of $1.7 million.
