A Beverly Hills charity group is giving the gift of safety for the holidays by offering free taxi vouchers to help prevent drunk driving and DUI-related accidents and/or deaths. The Lev Foundation is making the free DUI taxi vouchers available through December on its website at www.thelevfoundation.org.
The Lev Foundation is a nonprofit charity organization located in Beverly Hills that was created by family and friends of Daniel Levian, 25, who was killed last year while riding in a car driven by a drunk driver. The free $10 DUI taxi vouchers are being offered as incentive to encourage someone to who may be inclined to drink and drive to think otherwise.
The Lev Foundation’s organizers believe the free DUI taxi voucher program will be a success if it keeps another family from experiencing the pain associated to losing a loved one to a DUI.
According to Lev Foundation organizers, approximately 200 free DUI taxi vouchers have been distributed so far.
