A Costa Mesa DUI checkpoint is scheduled to take place on Monday, March 1, 2010. The Costa Mesa DUI checkpoint scheduled for March 1, 2010 is just another in what is expected to be a long series of DUI checkpoints planned for the city of Costa Mesa this year.
The Costa Mesa DUI checkpoint will take place as follows:
- Where: Harbor Boulevard at Fair Drive
- When: 5 p.m. Friday to 11 p.m.
- Who: The Costa Mesa Police Department
- What: DUI and driver’s license violations
The goal of the Costa Mesa DUI Checkpoint is to continue providing public awareness on the dangers of DUI and driving without a driver’s license.
The Costa Mesa DUI checkpoint is being funded by the California Office of Traffic Safety, through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
