Costa Mesa DUI Checkpoint Leads to Three Arrests

A Costa Mesa DUI checkpoint conducted on March 1, 2010, resulted in just one DUI arrest. The Costa Mesa DUI checkpoint was set up and operated by the Costa Mesa Police Department at the intersection of Harbor Boulevard and Fair Drive.

The official results from Monday’s Costa Mesa DUI checkpoint are as follows:

  • 2055 vehicles passed through the DUI checkpoint
  • 633 vehicles screened
  • 3 drivers arrested for DUI
  • 2 non-DUI Arrests
  • 15 Citations Issued
  • 1 vehicle impounded

Monday’s Costa Mesa DUI checkpoint is only one of many DUI checkpoints scheduled this year.
