Two Simi Valley teens were arrested on suspicion of running a heroin sales operation in the eastern part of Ventura County. The arrests of the two Simi Valley teens on heroin sales charges concluded a two week investigation  by multiple Ventura County police agencies.

On Tuesday, Tyler Hanna and Parker Moulton were stopped and arrested  by Ventura County Sheriff’s deputies as they were leaving Moulton’s home in the 700 block of Hudspeth Avenue. During a subsequent warrant search of the residence, Sheriff’s deputies found about a half-ounce of a substance they believed to be heroin.

The two Simi Valley teens, both 18, were booked into Ventura County Jail and charged with multiple drug-related charges. Hanna was charged with felony drug sales, drug conspiracy, misdemeanor being under the influence of a controlled substance and possession of an opium pipe. As for Moulton, he was charged with felony drug sales and possession for sale of a controlled substance.

A 17-year-old Simi Valley teen was also arrested in connection with the heroin sales investigation. He was charged with possession of heroin and being under the influence of a controlled substance before being released into the custody of a parent.

The arrest of the two Simi Valley teens comes as a result of a two week investigation into the alleged heroin sales operation by narcotics officers with the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department, the Simi Valley Police Department and the Ventura County District Attorneys Office.
