The Orange County Register reports that two men were arrested on suspicion of marijuana cultivation after police found 3oo marijuana plants and a sophisticated marijuana growing system in a Tustin home today.
Jeremie Johnson, 35, and Otha Millner, 65, were arrested after police officers, acting on an anonymous tip that marijuana was being grown and sold out of a home on First Street in Tustin, smelled the odor of marijuana while speaking with Johnson and Millner and entered the home. Once inside, officers found 300 marijuana plants and a marijuana farming system complete with water, lights and atmosphere control.
In addition to the 300 marijuana plants and marijuana growing system, police found several assault rifles and handguns. Johnson and Millner were booked into Orange County Jail on marijuana cultivation and weapons charges.
